_Tryon Road Realignment Petition_ (http://www.renparkonline.com/tryonroad/) Above is the site of the petition that Southwest CAC is asking everyone to sign. If you or anyone you know has ever traveled on Tryon Road between Cary and Garner, you know the potential danger of the railroad bridge and the curve east of that bridge. We hope you will sign our petition, share the information with your CAC and all your friends. This section is the only part of Tryon Road between Cary and Garner that is not four lanes wide and has been the location of many accidents. Our Road/Bridge Committee is working hard to make this street safe for everyone who travels on it. Mary Belle Pate Chair, SWCAC PS-The NCDOT person who came to our CAC when the southern portion of the Beltline was being built told us that once the Beltline was completed, there would be very little traffic on Tryon Road. So not true!!!
