know you will represent us all well! Thanks for your hard work for the
RCAC. We appreciate your leadership.

Colleagues,
It’s been a great honor and pleasure for me to serve as RCAC Chair again
this year. Thank you all for your support, your contributions, and your
hard work to make the Citizen Advisory Councils effective voices for
Raleigh residents. I couldn’t have done it without you, and I greatly
enjoyed the interplay of ideas articulated on every issue. We are
successful because we work together.
I am particularly proud of the strategic pyramid of vision and mission
that we forged together and detailed over 2013. I hope we put them into
practice to build an even better community of shared values and
principles. As Raleigh continues to grow, we need to flex the CACs to
meet the evolving needs of its citizens.
I look forward to attending RCAC meetings in 2014 as often as possible. The
Raleigh City Council appointed me today to the Triangle Transit Board of
Trustees, a role that will require a good deal of my time, but I will
continue to serve as Hillsborough CAC Chair next year, and I look forward
to seeing you all and continuing to work together to perfect the citizen
experience.
Please join me in 2014 to support our new RCAC Chair.
Sincerely, and wishing you all a healthy, happy, and prosperous New Year,
Will
