Our house, 2334 Glascock St is undergoing reconstruction from the April tornado. This evening, around 7:15 or so, a neighbor called to report seeing two middle aged African-American women standing in our backyard looking around. He confronted them, and they claimed to be working our contractor, which is false. He ran them off and they drove away in a green van, license plate ACD-4070. The police said that license plate is registered to a Honda, but our neighbor is confident those numbers are correct. The police said they were likely thieves looking for scrap metal, tools, wood, etc. Keep your eyes on any construction sites near you for people wandering through yards during off hours and call 911. Give the police a chance to catch such people.
