Just heard what sounded like gun shots in the 'hood -- anyone else hear
them? We live on Marlborough Road, just off of King Charles.

I live on N. King Charles Rd. which connects with Marlborough Rd. and we did not hear any
of the gunshots that you reported. I don't consider where I live to be in what you
call the "hood." That is a derogatory reference, and I wish that you would show
more respect in your correspondence. My wife and I are both retired and have lived at our
residence for twenty nine years and have been happy where we are and hopefully we will
continue to be free of any vandalism attempt or shooting. We respect where live and hope
that you will do so as well by not classifying our residency as being as you say the
"hood."

I am sorry that you were offended by my reference - I meant is as a
shortened form of neighborhood, nothing more. I love my (neighbor)'hood,
and expect to live her for a long, long time.
