The Fall meeting for our neighborhood watch will be Thursday, Nov 18, 7pm, at Powell Elementary School (front entrance). You should receive a flyer or postcard in the next week, but just a heads up in case it gets lost in the mail. We'll be discussing: * Crimes since August in our area * Resources for Seniors program * Lockwood Community Watch yard signs * Call for volunteer "block captains" * The latest improvements at Food Lion, with store manager Ronneil Robinson I would like to get an idea of how many people are willing to pay for half the cost of a Neighborhood Watch sign (personalized with "Lockwood" added). If enough people are interested, we can get an order together. The cost per person would be $6.50 (cash), which you'd need to bring to the meeting or get to me in another way.
