 From what I can discern from the police scanner
traffic, there was some sort of foot pursuit of people who had been gathered near
the bench at the
greenway entrance closest to the dead end of Crabtree Boulevard -- about "20
Blood gang members," one officer said. (I would note that young people
sometimes hang out at this spot and smoke marijuana.) The police mentioned a
discarded backpack found in the vicinity.

 Police are at both entrances to the greenway on Crabtree by Remington
 Rd. and by Somerset Rd. This is by the small park that recently had the
 playground updated.
