Neighbors,
Architects from the faculty of the School of Architecture at NC State's
College of Design, members of the Young Architects Forum as well as our
neighborhood's own in situ studio will be assisting in the tornado recovery
by volunteering their services to the local residents this Saturday at 4 pm.
If you have rebuilding needs, please come take a moment to talk to these
professionals. Preserving the architectural history of East Raleigh and the
King Charles neighborhood is important in the recovery process and can help
address problems our neighborhood will be facing as we rebuild our homes. In
addition, the architects can help look over your home, assess damage to the
best of their ability, help figure out what to do if there are options, talk
about working with contractors, and look over estimates to try to help
protect you from unfair practices.
We are meeting at the house of Matt Griffith of in situ studio, 111 Longview
Lake Dr.
*Please let me know if you plan on attending* by responding to this email or
calling 830-6815 if you someone you know doesn't have email access.
Please tell your friends and neighbors! If you can't make it tomorrow, but
are still interested, let me know too. Thanks!
Sincerely, Keith
