Hurray, our neighborhood will have free bulky waste pickup on May 18! Please be on the
lookout for a postcard and more information regarding what can and cannot be left at the
curb in the near future.
This is a great opportunity for some spring cleaning, so please let your nearby neighbors,
especially folks who maybe elderly or not on the listserv know too.
Best,
Vanessa

Subject: Greater Lockwood has been selected for community clean-up
Just wanted to let you know that the Greater Lockwood Community Watch area has “made the
cut” and will be able to participate in a community wide clean-up. May 18 is the date
that we have been able to fit you in, and I will be in touch later with details. The
Community Services Dept. will send out information postcards to all residents within the
area and it will list what the City will and will not pick-up curbside. There are some
exclusions such as car batteries, tires and a few other things based on the fact that
disposal of certain items is controlled by State law, so the City has to exclude certain
items, which will be listed on the postcard.
You might want to start spreading the word of the upcoming event via your listserv.
