Hi Lockwood Community Members! Just another day in the life of an Elementary School Principal... To the astonishment of our Kindergarteners and First Graders, a beautiful, light-green, parakeet visited us on our playground around 3pm today! I was able to gently corral the little dude/dudette (not sure how to tell if it's a boy or a girl?!) into a small box and my daughter (who is in first grade at Powell) insisted we get a cage/food/water until we find his/her owner. :) So, if anyone knows of someone in the community who lost light green parakeet, feel free let me know! Until then, I'll be happily running the "Chas Miller Wild Bird Sanctuary of Lockwood". :) Thanks!
