Bring a Scorpion Expert to Bugfest!
The Museum is asking for your help in bringing scorpion expert Dr. Lauren Esposito for a
keynote presentation and to host an exhibit of live scorpions at Bugfest!
This year's "theme arthropod" is the scorpion, so Dr. Esposito will be an
awesome addition to BugFest. She is an evolutionary biologist working as a postdoctoral
research fellow at the University of California at Berkeley. She is broadly trained as a
scorpiologist, but most of her current research focuses on arachnids (spiders, scorpions
and their kin) in the Caribbean biodiversity hotspot.
Please visit
http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?e=001iugMb4EimnK9BsJxCPAQADFTbvOFklLtnQTrGl781cc-…
and donate today to make her visit a reality. And please pass this note on to any
friends/family you think may be interested. Thank you!
