It could be totally unrelated and innocent. But it could also be the MO for the thief. They case potential target cars at night. Leaving the note gives them an idea about the car alarm and also an excuse if they are caught. So everyone be on the lookout for notes left on your car and late night activity. Call the cops and set off your car alarm from inside your house if you have anything suspicious happen!
