The Nature Art Gallery is proud to
present artist Amy Sawyer. August 1-September 1,
2014.
"Audubon Revisited" Art show
and sale by Raleigh native Amy Sawyer. Amy has enjoyed
creating artwork in a variety of media including watercolor,
ink, clay, glass and copper and is now exploring forged
steel sculpture. She draws her subject matter from nature,
including insects, birds, flowers and landscapes. In
addition to creating art, Amy has worked for the past twenty
years as a full-time exhibit designer. She is currently the
Curator of Design for the North Carolina Division of State
Historic Sites, and over the past nine years she has
designed and produced numerous history displays for the
division's museums and
visitor centers.THRU Sept.

ABOUT THE NATURE ART GALLERY
The
Gallery sells original, nature-inspired, two and three
dimensional artwork in all mediums by many of the finest
artists and artisans working in the Southeast.
A new
artist is featured each month.
The Gallery is
located on the mezzanine level of the Museum Store on the
first floor of the main Museum.
All artwork is for sale
and Museum members receive a 10% discount.
Sales
directly support Museum research, exhibits and
programs.
