IFFS Urban Ag is hiring! Inter-Faith Food Shuttle is hiring a Community Development Specialist for our Urban Agriculture program! IFFS Farms and Gardens was recently awarded a planning grant from the John Rex Endowment to work with the southeast Raleigh community to develop a plan for an urban agriculture program that is rooted in community. The Community Development Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the planning process. This is a time-limited position of 7 months, with a possibility to extend the position depending on available funding. Key grant activities include: identifying model programs across the country; community assets mapping; hosting community workshops, listening sessions, and events; and developing a final plan of action for the urban ag program. *See attached for the full description and list of required qualifications.* About IFFS Farms and Gardens IFFS Farms and Gardens aims to grow a healthy, just, and sustainable local food system.
