Soon you'll be hearing lots of things Ann! Hopefully the screaming motorcycle
won't be one of them…
Re:traffic calming
I've seen in the N&O Rumson is still listed as a candidate and there are markings
for a signs/humps on the street already. Not sure what the timeline is however?

Hi neighbors,
I didn't notice a screaming motorcycle last night, but I'm sure I'm about to
become MUCH more sensitive to the noise after our baby arrives! (Due date is about 9 days
away!)
Anyone know what the status of the 'traffic calming' measures/speed humps are for
Rumson? I hate speed humps, but I hate the crazy speeding on our street even more.
It's dangerous with the hills!
Thanks,
Ann

Well he came by right before I posted to the listserv. I remember he once revved up
Rumson after midnight when my son immediately woke up. I'm guessing he's not over
by you? It sounds like he's on the Marlborough/Millbank loop if I had to guess from
the Doppler effect produced? It had been quiet, but maybe he was just out of town… We
always need a radar gun on this street!
