I need to know if any neighborhoods are interested in conducting a
neighborhood clean-up day when all items can be brought to the curb
and collected by the City of Raleigh Solid Waste Services trucks at no
charge. We are accepting requests and I will need to know the
approximate number of homes in the neighborhood that would like to
participate. When all requests are received, we will assign to these
dates below that are still available. Let me know if your
neighborhood is interested as soon as possible. You can also partner
with a neighborhood close-by as long as they are on the Registry.
Being on the Raleigh Neighborhood Registry is a requirement for
participation. I will also need contact info for a person in each
neighborhood who is willing to be the point person for that
neighborhood.
Thanks and I hope to hear from you soon.

Subject: [longview-park-community-watch] Had to call the police
Just saw 3 juvinille black males jumping the fence out of a vacant house on Donnelly. I called the police.
I see these 3 kids hanging around the neighborhood a lot, and it's one thing to loiter around on the corner, it's another to be in a vacant house and jumping the fence, which indicates to me you're up to no good.
One is a heavy set boy, another has a small Afro. If these are your kids or you know them, please inform them that trespassing in a vacant house will only get them into trouble, and we have enough trouble in this neighborhood as it is without them adding to it.
Sorry if this seems harsh, but I'm tired of walkingn out my back door to see strangers running through my yard.
